Our History

Established in 1994 in the Eastern Cape, Express Petroleum began as a small commercial distributor with a single truck and a handful of customers. Celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2024, Express has evolved into one of South Africa’s leading commercial and retail fuel distributors. Over the years, we’ve expanded our fleet, built strong customer relationships, and established a reputation for fast, reliable service. In 2014, we launched a growth strategy that expanded our reach and solidified the Express brand, now boasting a fleet of more than 45 tankers and more than 45 branded service stations from Richards Bay to Cape Town. Along the way, we’ve earned significant industry recognition, including Branded Distributor of the Year award for three consecutive years. Today, we proudly supply both commercial clients and a growing network of retail stations, staying true to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
